How Real-World EV Range Is Calculated
This calculator starts with your vehicle's EPA-rated range and applies multiplicative reduction factors for temperature, speed, climate control, terrain, and cargo weight. Each factor is based on published research from organizations including AAA, Idaho National Laboratory, and Recurrent Auto.
